Hi
Iam having a set of performance tuning questions.Kindly clear my doubts with your experience.

1. In what situation one has to rebuild index?
2. What is mean by monitoring usage in dba_tables view?
3. Among many tables in a schema,how to identify ,in which table the maximum number of physical reads and writes are happening?
4.Can i pin the frequently used tables in the memory?how to achieve it?
5.Without running the statspack,sql_trace,tkprof, how to identify
the queries which take much time to execute and display results?
6.What is the acceptable value for "db file scattered read" and
"db file sequential read"?how to trobleshoot this?And how to calculate the neutral vale for "db file scattered read" and
"db file sequential read"?
