insufficient privileges when generating explain plan for a synonym [message #235847]

Hi

Need help. I have a user running explain plan but the user will receive a insufficient privileges message when generating a synonym of a view from another user. the user can generate plan for synonym of table from another user but not the view. Any idea?

other user is working fine.

If a user has create synonym privilege he can't receive an insufficient privilege when he creates a synonym whatever is this synonym definition.
What is the relation between "user running explain plan" and "receive a insufficient privileges message when generating a synonym"?

hi

the view and the table belongs to user A, the user B created a synonym to query the view and table belongs to user A.

The User B can query the view and table using normal select statement, and can create explain plan of the TABLE but will receive the insufficient preivileges error when generating explain plan for the VIEW. Thanks man..
