I am trying to connect to Oracle XE through ODBC. I am having trouble creating the odbc driver. I have no idea what I am doing wrong. I can't seem to find much help on oracle's website at all. All help would be appreciated. Here is hte error that I am receiving:

Unable to Connect
SQL State=IM004
[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Driver's SQLAllocHandle on SQL_HANDLE_ENV failed

Any ideas what I am doing wrong over here??

Thank you.

Dude,

Set ORACLE_HOME env. variable to your oracle XE installation path
e.g. C:\oracle\app\oracle\product\10.2.0\server
And yes... do remember to restart your machine after setting this variable
It did solve the problem for me.

Thanks,
