Hi All
May I know when I rebuild index in Oracle8, what is database status should be? eg, startup mount or startup open mode?
In additional, there are totally 3125 indexes in DB, any fast method or PL/SQL can chase out which index are need to rebuild?
(Manually rebuild index for 3125 is a nightmare)! Thanks!

Hi
It is because User feel slowly query on their Application, I haven't shutdown the database for nearly 8 months base on a lot of user is connecting to database even at night! I want rebuild index , but the disk usage is reach to 90%. abit worry in my case if I rebuld index online.
