Hi,

I'm on Solaris2.9 and Oracle 9i.

If I've more than one database running on a machine, do I need to install statspack in each and every Databasse to monitor them? Or is there a way to get the status of all these DBs just installing it in one DB?

Thanks

I am afraid , you need to install statspack on both the databases.
But if there is any option to do it just for one then even i want to know the procedure.

Waiting for others to chip in.

Yes, you need to install statspck separately on each database.

As for way to get the status of all these DBs, did you ever considered configuring the OEM. It might help.
