I have Oracle 9i Application Server & Oracle 9i Server.
I want to use the functionality of Oracle Server & want to deploy a J2EE Application in Oracle 9i AS. Which software should I install to get these both or should I install both Application Server & Databse Server and can I install both in a Single Machine?

You can run 9iAS and 9i databse on the same machine. If you install both 9iAS tiers, then you would have 3 separate oracle homes. Best to see the installation documents on otn.oracle.com. All the options and requirements are discussed.
