Sir/Madam,
I am having oracle 8i version 8.1.7. We have a server with os as windows 2000 server professional. And two clients with windows xp operating system. I have tried to install it on the Windows XP operating system. Oracle got installed but i got an error called " java.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close down" message box always popping up when ever i try to open an application in my system. Please tell the probable reason for it and steps to solve it.
