Hello All,

I have installed Oracle 8.1.7 on Window 2000 server Service Pack 3. Now, i required to upgrade my OS from Service Pack 3 to Service Pack 4.

I don't know the impact for doing same. Can any one tell me, What could be problems in upgrading the servcie pack ? and How I can resolve the same.

under normal conditions, where in you successfully upgaraded to SP4, there should be no problem with Oracle rdbms itself. Instead, your server would be more stable & secured due to patches and updates being done by the SP4.
