When I link to a table from access to Oracle, Oracle appends the user name to the table name. This means I have to write code that takes into account that the table will carry the username.tablename. Is there any way to set an option to not have Oracle ODBC append the username to the beggining of the table name?

Hello,

I am trying to export data from microsoft access to oracle through odbc and getting the following message:

ORA 014: INSERTED VALUE TOO LARGE FOR COLUMN

There are not unusually long fields.

would you know, by any chance, what is this possible to do?

thank you in advance,

Vicki
