I have a few questions about Oracle 9i (Release 2) installation, that I have just downloaded from Oracle's web site

1) I am running Windows 2000 Pro Sp3 (Pentium III 256Mb RAM): do I have to stop IIS Web Services before beginning the installation process ?

2) Is the Oracle HTTP Server running on the default (80) port ? If so, how can I avoid conflicts with IIS ?

Thanks for any help

NO need.
I am not sure about the downloaded versions from OTN.
when u install from a cd, or download version,
select a custom installtion.
IF YOU ARE NOT SELECTING ENTERPRISE MANAGER products,
The default Apache HTTP server is NOT required by oracle.
SO you can OMIT The installation of Apache and USE IIS as ur webserver.
I beleive, by editing the httpd.conf, you can direct apache to use a different port.
