I am trying to install Oracle 8 for WIN NT in Windows 2000. I get "Unable to delete/install V2 Listner service". After this it comes out of installation mode. Can someone write me how to overcome this.

please make sure there is NO other listner in the same name active.
where u able to install the database?
and what is the exact version of oracle 8?
becuase some versions may not be supported in windows 2000. please check the compatibility matrix
