1...Does oracle client/server means always more than one machine.
2...Does Standalone mean only one machine
3...If I have single machine with a OS 2000sever or NTserver, Is it standalone or client server.

Yes oracle client/server means more than one machine. Oracle server is where oracle is installed and you intall cleint part of oracle on other machine and connect.

Standalone means only one machine.

Even if you have intalled win2000 server version on any machine it doesn't become client/server.Client/sever is where you more than one machine is invloved,like LAN.

can you help me un install win200 server fro m my machine . when i format it gives amessage that " vcan not format because ti is on net work " but i hve stand alone machine
