i have a problem that when i go through the net 8 easy configuration wizard there is always a problem with Error connection did not succeded no listener found or name of service on some of the field given wrong.
i have configure many of the listener with diffrent port no. but still there is only that problem above metion.

yeah i've had that problem too, i'm still trying to figure it out, it's been about 2 weeks..it's causing me to fall behind in my classes, i found this website tho, so maybe this will be more help then my teacher.

hi iam vishal
pls tell me if u ur using oracle 8i personal
then why u configure net8 assistant ?
for 8pi it's doesnt require.
simlply run sqlplus.
uesr/ passward
hostname :blank
then db automaticly start
