Save Install folder from your oracle CD to hard drive.
Search the temporary directory where you unzipped the installer for the file "symcjit.dll". For example, if you unzipped into c:temp, search all of c:temp for "symcjit.dll".

For EACH copy of the file "symcjit.dll" found, rename the file to "symcjit.old".

From your c:temp (or other chosen temporary directory), open the subdirectory "installwin32" and double-click the file "setup.exe". Skip to step 2 below.
