Hi,

I have a question that's curiosity driven. I was doing some security work and put a sniffer on our network and found references to Oracle OEXFEN oci calls. There are only three references to OEXFEN if you do a google or YAHOO search and they are a sniffer dump and a comment in an oci7 and an oci8 header file, ocidef.h. I've done a bunch of other checks - oracle doc search, user groups - but have not found any references to OEXFEN.

Does anyone know what OEXFEN does? Is this a form of OEXFET or OEXN? Is it an old version of OEXFET that prefetches multiple rows and is now obsoleted? Is this pre-oracle 7?

Thanks in advance.

Toni
