I get the following message frequently:
--Latch waits are 20%/39% of non-idle wait time--

How can I manage Spin count and latch sleeps in Oracle 9.2.0.5? Any other suggestion/documentation on how to tune Latches?

Pl help,

regards,
Lily

When you ask such a question and don't know the answer,
then actually you DON'T need to.
BTW, there are lot of latch types in modern Oracle
releases.
