i have been made initial value for some items in When new from instance so i couldn't make ctr f11 or f11 to query data

Are you trying to save the data/changes? If you have made the field mandatory then you have to have a value assigned to it.

I wouldn't set values in WNFI. Doing that means that oracle thinks you're trying to insert a new record and won't let you query until you've saved the record or cleared it. Set default values in when-validate-record or pre-insert.

Is there a way where I can assign value to a field and Oracle does not take it as a new record?

Not really no. If you use the initial value property this doesn't happen but any attempt to assign a value from a trigger will cause it.

thanks but how i can set the default value is the same syntax as initial value or not

initial value property is a property in the items property palette. No syntax involved you just enter the value next to the property.
