Hi to all,

I have installed one new server and installed database Oracle 10G(10.2.0.1). it is running perfect and users can be able to connect with db.application is also running very fast.But the problem is, I found this error while checking in the alert_orcl.log file..,

Can anyone give reason...why this error is coming and how to rectify the errors?...

See MOS note 1188926.1 (Alertlog Flooded With: Oer 7451 In Load Indicator : Error Code = Additional Information: -1). You may need a patch.
Note that 32-bit Oracle database software on a 64-bit MS Windows OS which is not supported,

Tell me one thing, can i continue to use 32-bit db software under the server (64-Bit) or i need to reinstall all again for 64-bit?.,...
Any serous issue will happen?...

Reinstalling will not change the status of "not supported" and troubles are most likely anyway.

Hi michel,

i checked my server specification after your reply, I installed 32-bit Oracle database software in 64-bit microsoft windows os.What I meant was i need to install 64-bit Oracle database software...right?...

Yes you need it but I doubt you'll find a 10g 64-bit.

@Michel : will check...it's available or else i need to go for 11G.

@gazzag : Since 2010, we are using 10G(10.1.0.2)...Recently, we changed to 10G (release 2)... Sure I will go to upgrade for 11G.
