Hi,

I am facing a problem in Windows XP that I have created a ODBC link with microsoft access *.mdb file & define this connection with oracle 9i database.

Problem is when the systems default firewall enabled then the connectivity will disable while the firewall disabled then its work & enabled the connectivity.

Is their is any posibilty to define exception in firewall that will enable us the ODBC connectivity without disable the firewall.

Thanking you,

Best Regards,

Khurram Kazmi.

I suggest that you post this on appropriate firewall forum.
