When I am installing Oracle 8 Enterprise edition on Windows 2000 Server, I am frequently getting errors of services that can't be stopped and services that can't be started by Oracle Installer. Some of the errors are:
1) "Failed to create service for net8 client"
2) "Unable to stop nt service for oracle web publishing assistant"
3) "Unable to delete the NT service for the SQL *Net V2 Listener"
After pressing 'OK' on this error the Oracle Installer Exits.
I stopped all the services of Oracle on my Windows 2000 Server, but still I am getting those errors. After I click on 'OK' the Oracle Installer Exits. I have to restart the Oracle Installer and the same story continues.
Please help me as fast as you can. If possible, help me right now.
