I can't believe what I am hearing. Is it true that I cannot connect to Oracle from Windows 98. 95 and NT have no problem. I cannot finde any info on this but the DBA here says we all need NT. The VB app that I made needs to be switched from getting data from MSAccess to Oracle. Any info on the 98 problem would be a great help.

Hi Brian ,

I do have the similar problem , how did you solve this problem??

I have Ora8.0 for Win95/WinNT , which i tried installing on Win98 , but couldn't , during installation an error nets80.vrf pops up and the installation exists , any possible solutions to this ??

I am not sure the Ora8.0 for Win95/WinNt directly supports Win 98

Thanks
Shivakumar
