I have just loaded Oracle 7, Release 7.3.4 onto my NT Server. The OracleService SID is stopped. I can see the error in NT Instance Manager, but can't start it. Can't locate Oracle Database Assistant( is that just in version 8?) How can I get the bootstrap instance started?

Hallo,

In windows NT look at "My Computer" "Control Panel" "Services"
You will see there your oracle instance.
When not started, then start it there.

Hope this works,

Greetings,

Thierry.
