We have an RDB database and we are sending the information into oracle 7.3, this is running under windows NT4.0. All queries run fine, except the one's that are doing year-to-date calculations. These run fine sometimes and sometimes they take about 90% of the CPU's processor, then they just hang. I've tried rewritting the codes and we still have this intermittent problem.

Please help!!!

Windows/NT machines can sometimes get extremely slow when there is a memory shortage. Make sure you do not run out of memory resources.
