Hi,

I am not sure about the following question:

Which two are attributes of iSQL*Plus? (Choose two).

A. iSQL*Plus commands cannot be abbreviated.

B. iSQL*Plus commands are accessesed from a browser.

C. iSQL*Plus commands are used to manipulate data in tables.

D. iSQL*Plus commands manipulate table definitions in the database.

E. iSQL*Plus is the Oracle proprietary interface for executing SQL statements.

Answer: C, D

Explanation:

iSQL*Plus commands can be used to manipulate data in tables and iSQL*Plus commands manipulate table definitions in the database.

Incorrect Answers:

A: iSQL*Plus commands can be abbreviated. Like command DESCRIBE can be abbreviated as DESC, or SELECT as SELE.

B: iSQL*Plus commands are not accessesed from a browser.

E: iSQL*Plus is not only the Oracle proprietary interface for executing SQL statements.

I think so C and D are not correct.

I think B & E are correct considering the question is not about SQL*PLUS but about iSQL*Plus Tool which can be only run from a browser and is oracle proprietary.

Any suggestions about which is correct option would be required.

Thanks,
Priya.

Hi,

Thanks for the link "The same question has already been asked."

But there was no conclusion drawn from the whole topic.

Just in case if you can provide that B, E are the correct one would even help others to get the final answer.

Thanks,
Priya.

Hi,

B & E are the correct ones.

Commands of isql* plus do not allow manipulation of values.

That was just a starter, as many are still confused about the answer. Also, 9i sql has been made mandatory for 10g OCA certification. Thought it would help.
