Hi,

i got a problem in my database ORA-600 error in the past, then i was contact to ORACLE PEOPLE regarding this problem. they suggest me to set this parameter to false

_bloom_filter_enabled =false

i want to know what was the impact of this parameter.
is it good or bad.
how do i analyze it.

can any one help me or send some document on this parameter for investigation?

Why didn't and don't you ask this question to these ORACLE PEOPLE?

There is no documentation on hidden parameters (sometimes on Metalink but if you raised a SR you already know it).

And this does not answer the question of its impact on database/instance.

Kumar,
If u posts entire ORA-00600 error then only I am able to tell u what is impact of setting this parameter in your case because there are several situations when this parameter is suggested.

Michel,
I didn't find any post regarding this topic hence I suggest to read this web site. Actually Oracle using this logic to work with database in parallel mode. my intention was make him aware with bloom_filter is what.
