I have C++ application that runs on UNIX, (AIX, SUN, HP[RISC/Itanium). that application accesses Oracle via OCCI APIs.

I was ordered to stop using OCCI and use OCI instead Shocked

What are the differences between these two libraries?
any porting guide that you familiar with?

Thanks, Joe

OCI: Oracle Call Interface
OCCI: Oracle C++ Call Interface

Overview of OCI
Overview of OCCI

Is there any reason you must not use OCCI?
